Let’s remember the story, Of warmth & glory ,
Of struggle & fight, Of sweat & pride.
Way back in 1959, the stone was laid,
For the way ahead.
A name was given, resembling the nation,
Foundation was laid, for pride of generations.
Our predecessor’s have strived Day and night,
To make us self reliant, shining bright .
A mountain task to compete those,
Who lead the market around the globe.
We succeeded thought sheer conviction
To provide our nation energy protection.
With the turn of the era,
Came the age of decentralization.
the rocking winds tried to jolt,
we stood strong with our firm foundation hold.
With another decade gone,
Now it’s our turn to draw the future,
To take the glory ahead and pass it on,
To carry the service of the nation to another heights.
To once more bring the name in lime light,
Making “Indian Oil”- Shining bright.
